Public Liability Insurance
We maintain liability insurance coverage on all rental vehicles to a maximum of $ 1,000,000.00 for all vehicles for any bodily injury and property damage liability claim brought by a third party (other than a passenger) against the customer (and any other driver listed in the rental contract) as a result of the operation or use of their rental vehicles. This basic public liability coverage is included in all rental rates. All coverage and waivers are subject to the express terms of the rental contract.

Customer Responsibility
With Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) In the event of loss or damage to vehicle while on rent, whether or not due to the fault of customer, customer's responsibility for direct and accidental loss (including theft and vandalism) or damage to the vehicle is unlimited. That is, customer is responsible for all loss or damage.

With CDW, the customer's responsibility for accidental damage, theft and vandalism (police report is required) to the vehicle is reduced to
$ 2,500.00 per occurrence, with the following exceptions, for which there is no reduction in customer responsibility for damages:
1) Caused as a result of use without expressed permission or consent
2) Damage caused by striking overhead objects or backing up vehicle
3) Interior damage
4) Undercarriage damage, including tires and wheels
5) Damage caused by freezing or overheating vehicle systems
6) All damage caused during any use of off public roads, campgrounds
7) All glass damage

Deposit with CDW is USD 2,500.00

Extended Liability and Vacation Interruption Protection
Extended Liability and Vacation Interruption Protection (ELVIP) is available at all rental locations for Vans and Motor Homes

ELVIP provides the following benefits:
With ELVIP, the customer's responsibility for accidental damage is further reduced to $ 200.00. In case of theft and vandalism to the vehicle, the deductible is $ 1,000.00. This reduction of the customer's responsibility does however not apply to the exceptions mentioned in (7) above, for which customer's responsibility reduces from unlimited to $ 2,500.00.

ELVIP also covers the expenses in the event of a mechanical breakdown requiring the vehicle to be in repair for more than 12 working hours. Radio, air conditioning, refrigerator, generator, microwave, appliances, automatic step, cruise control and GPS malfunctions are not considered to be mechanical breakdowns. Incurred expenses of $ 30.00 per person per day for lodging and $30.00 per group per day for other transportation is provided. A limit of $3,000.00 per tour applies and this plan is not valid in case of an accident. Customer must present all receipts for refund of expenses.

ELVIP coverage is void if customer fails to file an accident/damage police report, or if vehicle is used in violation of the terms of the rental contract. Deposit with ELVIP is $ 200.00

Driving to Alaska, to Northern BC - Alaska Highway North of Fort St. John or the Steward Cassiar Highway, to the Yukon Territory and to the Northwest Territories are considered Northern Rentals. A mandatory one-time preparation/insurance fee of $450.00 applies. The fee does not apply for all rentals originating in Alaska or the Yukon Territory. If you drive into these areas without permission your insurance coverage may be void. In case of an accident customers are responsible for all fees.

Mandatory One-Time Charge of $195.00 per Rental
The fee includes transfers from / to the rental center, propane gas supply, chemicals, cleaning items.

Locally advertised rates may be higher.

Most rental center are providing the following items for rent and at a additional cost: Mountain Bikes, Bike Carrier, Child Seats, Booster Seats, Toaster, Lawn Chairs, inflatable Canoes or Kayaks, Snow Chains etc. Advance reservation is highly recommended. You may rent these items also at local outdoor supply stores.

With Premium Insurance $300.00 - With CDW Insurance $2500.00 or as otherweise stated. Accepted form of payment: Credit Cards, Traveler Check or Cash. Credit card deposits may be processed at the time of pick up. Please Note: the primary renter must present a credit card.

All units are strictly non-smoking. If you smoke in the unit – a cleaning fee may apply upon return of the unit.

Are generally included in our rental rates – with the exception of taxes for additionally locally rented items, additional insurance, one-way fees and locally paid mileage fees.

Early Bird Transfers (available at additional fee) from 07:00 onwards are provided, if the client stays in one of the designated transfer hotels. Afternoon transfers from 13:00 – 15:00 are not provided. Please meet your shuttle bus driver in the hotel lobby.

Drop off between 09:00 – 10:30
A return transfer either to the hotel or the airport will be provided

To Mexico, to the Death Valley from June 15 - Sept 15, on Logging Roads, on non-public Roads, into Montreal & Quebec City Metropolitan Areas are prohibited. For all Northern Routes (Alaska & Yukon) a $450.00 Surcharge applies. Please refer also to the Northern Charges section.

Most RV’s are from current model years

We will make every effort to provide the type of vehicle requested and booked. We do, however, reserve the right to substitute a vehicle of equivalent or lower value or offer a higher rated vehicle at no additional cost. Should a lower rated vehicle be substituted, our responsibility is limited to refundi the difference in the daily rental rates.
